REED’s 5301PD Power Drive rotates the pipe while cutting, threading, or reaming operations are performed on up to 2” diameter pipe or bolt. The flat housing top provides a handy workspace.
5301PD is approved to the latest US and CSA Canada standards!
5301PDCOMP "complete" comes with HSS (High Speed Steel) Universal Dies versus the competitor’s alloy steel dies.
Also available in 240V by special order. The 240V power drive models offer higher torque to thread faster. (This is especially noticeable on 2” pipe jobs.)
REED also offers 5301PDCOMP complete models including a tripod, transporter, carriage, reamer, pipe cutter, universal die head, high speed steel (HSS) universal dies, oiler and cutting oil.

Power Drive & Safety Arm, 110-120 volts, 50/60 Hz, with Case
601PD Power Drive weighs only 15.4 pounds, yet delivers plenty of torque for threading through 1 1/4” pipe.
A safety arm is always included, as is a carrying case.
No load forward speed is 25 RPM, with a fast reverse switch that allows 60 RPM backoff to expedite jobs.
The REVERSE button on the power drive is used to properly and quickly remove the threader drophead or die head from the pipe that has just been threaded. (There is no threading done in the REVERSE position.)
Electric power (115V) used to thread pipe; a great alternative to hand-threading.
700PD Power Drive is a portable, electric, heavy-duty power drive that threads pipe and conduit up to 2” (50 mm) in diameter.
700PD is 1/2 horsepower, double insulated, turns at 28 RPM (no load) and uses a forward/reverse switch.

700PD uses REED R12+ Segmental Dies and Dropheads or Ridgid® 12R dies and dropheads. Add the optional Safety Arm to absorb the forces generated when threading. Safety arm provides stability and frees up the operator to oil the dies during threading.
Also, the 700PD power drive can be used to power tapping and drilling machines by adding a REED Power Drive Adapter.
700PD is approved for the US and CSA Canada specs!
RIDGID® is a registered trademark of Ridgid, Inc. and is not associated with Reed Manufacturing Company.
A workhorse model, designed for threading pipe and conduit up to 2” (50 mm) in diameter.
Vinyl-coated handle provides better electrical safety to the user.
Neoprene sealed switch helps keep dirt out and prolongs switch life.
